Yes i take my characters seriously. It hurt when JT died in Degrassi, when Lucas almost died in One Tree Hill, when Nathan went off the bridge and Haley kept screaming Naaaathan, when Stefan snapped Enzos neck in Vampire Diaries, when that hoe didn't share the door with Leo in Titanic, when Mark died in Greys… man i could keep going

I usually dont actually cry, it just upsets me a little. The last time I actually cried over a character, I was reading a book during class in 8th grade. It's so hard not to cry when you actually feel like crying lol.

No, I don't even cry when an actor who plays them dies in real life. Crying over a fictional character is matrix level silly, they never existed to begin with.

I could see crying over losing a friend or family member or pet, but not a stranger or fictional character.

Several. I cried over the death of the Terminator at the end of Terminator 2. If a character I'm supposed to like dies and I don't cry the story isn't doing it's job. I'm easy to get emotionally invested, it takes a very poorly told story for me not to react.

Yea, Rangoku from Demon Slayer- I tear up every time I see it.

I'd give anything to die as perfect a death as him.

Well I never really cried while watching any show, just once few tears escaped my eyes in the last episode of Goblin. However I was really upset by the death of L in death note.

Yes. Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Not so much the character himself but his father's reaction and others. It's a really emotional scene (in the film) and masterfully acted. Gets me every time.

Yes, when I was watching Fullmetal Alchemist at like 10 years old is the most specific example I can think of. I think that might've been the first time I cried over a fictional character's death.
