Play offline games until the power comes back on or do anything that doesn’t require the internet. I spend too much time on the internet and I get annoyed when I don’t have an internet connection. I’ll definitely get a lamp (and yes I meant lamp ‘cause I don’t have time for lighting candles that can serve as an potential fire hazard in the dark) and carry it to the next room and such. It’s a great time to do things you never caught up on without the internet. I have a little crochet rug I’ve never finished and it’ll be great for me to finish it depending on how dark or tired I am. Just do things that you wouldn’t do regularly from time to time and find a way to enjoy it :)
I remember my mom and I would tell stories to each other in the dark 🤣. Or watch the sky 🌌 . And count the stars or sing until the lights come back on
I call the power company to report the outage and set up the battery powered lanterns I have and listen to the radio and just wait it out. If it is winter and I have no heat I have to start making plans incase it is out for days. I have to call myu heating contractor to get the system drained and find someplace to go that has heat.
I had almost a week about that... so I had to spend plenty of extra hours working "analogically" lmao, that was quite the hassle
as usual, no time to got bored or complain that much about it... lmao
Lol, I wouldn't be so bored if it wasn't 9:30pm, and raining.
I'd find something to do outside, but can't do that, atm.
that sounds quite lucky... because I also had to deal with temps well over 100F, at night so... not much sleep either

Hope that it goes back on before the caffeine runs out. Stupid sleep apnea.
Power never goes out, when it does, my Tesla PowerWall battery kicks in instantly
How much does ot cost to buy, install and maintain?
@TheSpaceGnome All in cost was high. Let me parse it out as I eventually got the whole package.
First got the car, Model S, and had an electrician run cabling from breakers to garage to charge at home. Good job, all cable hidden under drywall, ran the whole length from breaker to garage was about 40 Feet. Cost was $1100.00
The cost to charge at home, was high through CA Edison, and one day at Home Depot, ran into Solar City Rep (Now TESLA) We had been having power outages monthly here in Huntington Beach for months and I was really irked by that as you can imagine.
So, I opted for Solar from Tesla AND the Powerwall, to save us during the ongoing power outages.
Here is the way it priced out: The Solar ALONE would have been about 22K all in BUT adding the Powerwall was another 22-23K bringing it up to just at 44,000
The house is paid off and so is the car, but it still leaves me with a 450.00 monthly payment for about another 5 years. ( I now owe about 28,000 on it now)
If to do OVER, I would probably do it again for the value it adds to the home, in resale.
Thanks @Bricealan, what was the cost when you hired for cleaning?
Ah ok.
You too? Power went out here from about 6pm and didn't come back on till almost 10...
I GAG'd a little, read a book and then 😴...
Hope your power's back on🤞🙂
Candles. Read. Why I don’t download all books, too.
Play on my phone with 4g. I don't need power anywhere in my house to access a cellular network and if my power went off often enough, I would get spare batteries.
Candles
Flashlights
Pretend it's a horror movie
Well... if it's night
Daytime.. could always enjoy outside or read I don't know
Be thankful that I have a backup generator and go about what I was doing.
Play one of my acoustic guitars by candle light.
Light candles and actually talk to each other
Fire up the generator and read a book.
Get pissed tough it out
