Do you think that if there is no audience, celebs are nothing?

And celebs should be appreciative to the audience and fans and treat them well because if it was not for us the audience, public and fans who watch their movies or TV shows, they are nothing?

I mean like the salaries they earn is due to the public? I mean I know celebs earn moeny in from other sources too like products, sponsorships, private events they are hired to do something , l etc but the gross of their salaries comes from the public to go out and watch their movies domestically or internationally to be entertained. Why they became an actor/actress in the first place, to be seen right? I mean they all struggle when they were starting to study to become an artist and had other jobs in order to pay for auditions and be accepted so some do not even had money back then for auditions But their main goal is to be recognized, be a good artist and be seen right?

That is why I dont understand when many celebs behave rude to the public or fans who enjoy watching their movies and they feel they are untouchable, when they are just like any human regular person with 2 feet, 2 set of eyes, 2 ears, one head, 2 arms, 2 legs, they are not divinites or Gods (although soem behave and believe they are) with ultra magic powers, they are just like you and me only they they have a very very good jobs who pay pays them tons and tons of money and by having lots of money give them more power, but at th end off the day and off work they are like you and me, dealing with many problems of many kinds probably.

I also understand that being public figures come with their ups and downs but that comes with the territory of the profession they chose to have as their livehood, but it is something im sure they have to be trained to deal with it emotionally and psychologically otherwise they will go crazy and won't put up all the attention the public gives to them, unless they LOOOOVE THE ATTENTION..

So when they get mad, upset or are rude to fans I dont understand why they have to be

like that, of coruse there are exceptions when a fan is really crazy and stalk the celeb taht I disagree and need to be stopped. But soem get mad even if they are asked for a photo or an autograph when they are not working and are out and about doing normal errands when they are not working but they are seen. Also I disagree if they invade their privacy but their real privacy like chasing inside their houses but, being out in a public street is not being so private.

There is a 42 yr old celeb who does not own any kind of social media he hates technology so he gives in a way more control to the papz to take photos of him doing normal errands and post freely whatever they want instead if a celeb have social media at least he or she has the control to post what they want or not want and not give the control to the crazy papz or to the tabloids. This celeb the papz always take photos of him running on the public street, and the celeb hates it.

Yes, no audience = no film/movie industry. Not just celebrities. Directors, Producers, Scriptwriters, Cameramen, Stuntmen, Lightmen, Soundmen and so on.

Why are they rude? While it's true that some celebrities are inherently rude like Ellen, some maybe just want their space.

Imagine going out for dinner with a friend, a date, your family and people just being starstruck for the 1 millionth time, asking, well, demanding for picture, poses, autographs. Then there are paparazzi's who "guard" your every move.

It's gonna be annoying. They are people, they get annoyed.

There should be a right time and place to do those things. Events, conventions, backstage access. Not when they are out with their families, not in front of their house at 4am in the morning.

for some celebs, that's true. cause all these celebs can do is draw attention to themself. but some celebs like for example Neil deGrasse Tyson would be huge even without a following and his celebrity status.

his celebrity status comes from being a science communicator who's frequently on tv and active in social media and such. but then he's also Phd astrophysicist for NASA and astronomy masters. so he'd still be a big deal if he wasn't a celeb.

Well yea, without fans/supporters, they wouldn't be where they are today. They are well known cause the public keeps them well known, follows them, buys their work, or promote it. Hollywood can push them all they want, but if the general public isn't feeling them or not impressed with their talent, they can fall off very fast and very easily. Any celebrity that states they don't owe their fans have just lost touch with reality and gotten cocky, ungrateful over the years.

I talked to a kid who worked at a cinema. He told me that 100% of the ticket cost went to the production company, And if it was some fancy movie like Disney, then Disney even wanted a chunk of the popcorn sales. Screw them. I will never support that.

They are nothing without the fans. But what’s crazy are the fans that totally follow there every move and listen to whatever they say like they are knowledgeable in all aspects of life. They should shut up and act! Be glad they live in a country that affords them the opportunity! We don’t need their opinions on political issues. They don’t live the normal reality of most of us. Especially when it comes to security, healthcare and economics. Just my opinion!

Yes, I think so. I think it's one of the oddest things in this country that so many people obsess over celebrities like they are some sort of demi god. They are people too and are just like you or me.
