Im not exactly a neat freak per se but i do prefer things to be neat and junk to be off the floor at least. I try to maintain some organization with my stuff.
girls would you date a ‘neat freak’ and guys are any of you one yourself?

Neat freak, has kind of a negative tone to it. Like obsessive cleaning.
I'm not a neat freak at all, so I would worry that I would be a stress factor for him, or forced to become more into cleaning than I am, which would stress me.
So it would depend on how he handles that, and whether he would be comfortable with that as well. I would hate for it to become stressful for either of us.
Would be lovely to have someone else clean though. I've thought about whether I can afford to pay someone to clean my apartment once in a while.
I am a neat freak, and my husband is in between. Sometimes we do argue about this because in less than a week, things will be in a mess all over again. He doesn’t have the habit of putting the stuff back to its place. He is not a slob, but not a very organised person either. I am on the other hand, like everything to be tidy. I do feel that slobby people know exactly what they are doing though. I notice they always end up with someone who is opposite from them for obvious reason.
lol yeah cause they want you to clean up after them usually :P
I don't care if my partner is a slob or not. I've been with both.
@HawkPerception I'm still a germa-phobe even though I'm a slob lol I won't eat anything without washing my hands first. Amazing how many people don't wash their hands
@Still-alive Thanks for the MHO

TOOO neat implies some kind of OCD/Anxiety issue, so there would have to be some considerations.
I like to see how a guy keeps his car or his work space -- if it's neat and everything has its place, great. If it's all mountains of paper and such... he's possibly a personality type that is just as overwhelming as the OCD/anxiety-ridden type has the tendency to be.
Balanced neatness level is fine and indicates a balanced mind... self-awareness and a few other desirable traits in a mature man.
I only know one guy who’s a ‘neat freak’, and that’s my brother, lol. I remember when I was living with him years ago, I pulled a load of laundry out of the dryer and carried it to my bedroom, and accidentally dropped a sock on the ground. Didn’t notice until he started yelling at me for “making a mess”. My definition of a mess vs his are very different… I definitely couldn’t date someone who’s like that, no way.
I like to have a clean home but nothing extreme.
I don’t think I could do it.
I’m not a neat freak per se but everything in my home has its own spot and I notice when things are missing or have been moved.
My partner is basically the same. But he isn’t neat. More like organized chaos.
I am kind of a neat freak myself so I am very happy my husband is, too. But, since we have small children in the house, we have to be more than a bit flexible on things lol.
I can't do it. The anxiety, the restlessness the constant ADD when you're trying to have a conversation.
That cup over there isn't doing anything to you just sit down and watch the fucking movie, it's 3am!
I like guys who are organized and like to keep things clean. However, if he's obsessed with cleaning, then he has a problem. He needs professional help. In that case, I couldn't date him.
It would become annoying when we move in together, but for the early stages of the relationship, I wouldn't mind it
My place looks lived in for sure some clutter here and there but not like a hoarder or anything like that.
It would be bloody amazing to date a neat freak!! 😂😂😂
I’m totally over lazy guys who leave a trail of devastation in their wake and expect women to clean up after them! We need more tidy people in the world.
I’m neat and a freak. So yes I like my man same 😂
I LOVE neat freaks. I have OCD so it works out.🧼🧹🫧
I like things to be in their proper place. If I'm looking for something I want to find it where it belongs. The place doesn't have to be spotless but somewhat clean
As long as he is not a neat freak at sex I would be ok
I'm a minimalist is decorating space but as such I like things orderly and clean. 🤷🏻♂️
In a guy who's a bear freak I voted and the women can date me. who are freaks themselves lol 😆
When it comes to cleanliness I make Adrian Monk seem normal.
That's my dream partner to be honest. It means he's hygienic.
I love places to be filled with things and stuffs empty places are just scary and boring to me. Doesn't mean I like to live dirty.
I would and sort of am dating a neat freak.
