Henri Ducard can be a big person. He could be a Qui-Gon jinn figure, who comes to Gotham to defend it from a ressurected Rhas al Ghul, and dies twice in a sacrifice.

No Henry Duccard was a mere minion, that's how I knew watching batman begins that Liam Neeson was Raz Al Ghul, you aren't going to have Liam Neeson play a nobody minion, you have him play the main villian, a legendary charcter. It's like Heath Ledger, they weren't going to have him play one of the joker's henchmen.

Just wouldn't be right to bring in a quality actor like Liam Neeson to play sn underling. You bring him in to play the big bad.
