Any advice on graphic design (total beginner here)?

I would like to explore, buy a tablet and get the right software, to draw and create logos, vector images or touch up photos… Also take a picture and sort of extract shapes from the picture. Any advice for a complete beginner? Thank you in advance 😊

If you are starting use whatever you got its not perfect but you can still work it out and upgrade slowly one thing at a time.

Software is easy, you can get the expensive Adobe Creative Suite, or google Free alternatives, which are (almost) as good.

You should find a list with programms to replace Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, ...

For photos you'll need photoshop and maybe lightroom, or the alternatives

For vektor images its illustrator.

And Premiere is for video editing.

Graphic tablets are expensive, espacially those where you draw directly on the screen. Don't expect to find a decent one under 300$ even on black Friday sales.

You can start with a tablet which only tracks movement and pressure and displays it on the monitor like a mouse. These start at maybe 50$~100$.

If you already have an Apple and Ipad, you can use these as Graphic tablet, but if you don't have them already you got to pay an even higher price.

Maybe you can rent the technical equipment, but not sure whats that will cost you and if its available in your region.

Also don't forget classic pen and paper, draw on paper first and finish it digitally

Im not very good at drawing I was hoping sewing digitally would be easier but it seems like it’s not 😕 that’s why I was thinking about taking pictures and somehow extracting the shape, and have a simple design/vector image to work with… what are you working on ☺️?
