Working with graphic designers for a new logo?

An intimidating project, knowing there's so many people that could make a logo for you but you ultimately don't want to be going through a bunch of people. If they present you with something that you kinda like is that something that's going to grow on you or does that mean it's not right for you? Basically when you have the right logo do you instinctually "just know" or are you left wondering?

"I kind of like it" is a no, it will not grow on you, and if something doesn't go well with the project, then things like the logo will really start bothering you... lol. These are the little BIG things in which you should not settle for "meh, okay"

You have to look at it through your potential customers eyes, will it make sense to them. and/or catch their eye.

I do graphic design in my old age. Depending on what you are merchandising, I could also work with you for a logo.
