I've seen these used BMW sedans for not crazy prices and I really love their leather and wood paneling interiors. The body looks good too. I hear they're fun to drive and I am a speed demon, so if that's true I'd love to take it on a test drive.
It is going to cost you considerably more to run than a regular car but it is also going to be better.
You may struggle to find a mechanic capable of maintaining such a car in the States as most of you seem to think that V8 push rod engines are cool and that retuning it every weekend is normal.
Also another good rule of thumb that would benefit Americans is that if your vehicle has less than one horse power per weight of average horse then you should probably just go and buy a horse.

I haven't driven one so I can't comment on the ride quality.
I will say yes, they are very nice looking cars. And I wanted one for a long time.
I don't like that a lot of them have modern shifters where its an electric nob instead of a traditional stalk. I would also imagine they are quite expensive to maintain.
I drove a Jaguar X-type for years which is fairly similar and that thing had a smooth and comfortable ride. But you fix one thing and another would go wrong.
If you buy a beemer just keep in mind basic car buying: check the miles against the year, owner history, location history, and work history.
Our car is an SUV and we’ve had it almost 20 years with no problems whatsoever. High value vehicles do not break down easily so if you can afford a used one less than 5 years old, it’s probably better than a brand new vehicle from a less reputable company that costs the same. We can afford more cars but we don’t need one cause with the pandemic we drive less than 10 hours a month.

Are you prepared to pay for its maintenance? From what I know from my friends, they require heavy investments in maintenance. Like oil and other things. Their spare parts are also expensive. Just like Skoda.
Very high-quality car. My brother rented one in Delaware when there for a funeral. I tried to get him to get a Tesla Model S, but he did not want to spend the extra $$$$$$
Yes. Never buy a used older than 3 years BMW or Audi for that matter, you are buying problems.
i don't like driving BMWs. it feels like the car is baby sitting me. like when i put the pedal to the metal, the car thinks for a few seconds before giving you full power. i hate that shit.
Yeah, until it needs repair
German cars lose value rapidly after their warranties expire for a reason. There’s no such thing as a cheap BMW
Yes, it is a quality fast car, especially M series, but be prepared to pay through the nose to maintain it. You MUST do scheduled maintenance on-time and keep a logbook or void your warranty.
They're decent cars, but expensive to repair.
I just got myself a new I4 BMW all electric. Its got some pick up and go. If you're a speed demon find yourself a true M3 or M5.
My local "German Car" mechanic says BMW stands for "Break My Wallet."
I’ve owned three. They really are the best driving car you can buy but they have quirks
They're super fun to drive but repairs and reliability make them awful
When they run well yes working on them is a pain and they can be expensive to get fixed which will happen eventually
Nice until the maintenance bill comes or insurance for that matter
They are fun cars to drive. However maintenance and parts.
Until they need a repair. 💰💰💰…💰💰
I personally don't like BMW's
They are nice but expensive to upkeep
Nicer than a Skoda ig
If they are still made in Germany yes
It's ok.
