Pennywise was just a single avatar of an extradimensional beast that fed on fear. IT was a seemingly invincible sanity-destroying monster, in the truest sense of the word. A creepy clown really can't compare.

Pennywise is just... some hungry mofo for fear and intends to be menacing or scary.

But waking up to that thing at the foot of my bed is gonna make me change my panties and sheets. My knives are two steps away from me, so if that thing turns its head and starts moving before I get there... welp, see y'all in heaven.
