well... I never did quite fit in

but I did not want to fit in either... I would still belong though

sort of adopted as the odd one out, because I would embrace my differences with but also entice with the similarities which, there were some too

while I never a group of my own, or others "like me" I was able to circle around all or most circles from time to time... most of my time though, I would spend it with a very few and close friends, who were not quite like me either lmao... but that didn't matter, because same thing... embraced our differences and enjoyed the few similarities

I definitely did not fit in anywhere in high school. I did not play sports or any other activities and I didn't have many friends. All my friends were kids I met during the summer where we went on vacation. I even sort of had a girlfriend there too.

I was kind of a nerd in HS. In college , we were the (ala frat-living) GDI - gamma/delta/iota- Gosh Dang Individuals. At my 50th HS reunion, I found out there was this kinda hottie gal (over whom I mentally drooled) who kind thought I was someone she had wanted to get to know better. Drat the luck.

So people - speak up, if there is someone you'd like to meet. Just be honest and remember that lose 100% of the chances you never take!
