Why do so many movies involve violent crime? Do you people enjoy watching that type of thing? Why?

My idea of a good movie would be alpacas kissing each other, girls hanging out with their horses, dogs and ponies cuddling and hugging, people helping lonely elderly women feel loved and honoured. I have no idea why movies are so scary and depressing.

Depends on the context of the movie. If it’s violent for the sake of being scary, like horror movies, I avoid it. But if it’s violent for the sake of telling a story, like war films, I’ll watch it.
