I play Mission Pack of Quake from 1997 at the resolution of 640X400 Pixels but movements feel freezing. I wondered the fps.

I think if you press the Windows key and G key at the same time, you’ll get menus where you can find it. Look for the “Performance “ menu, you should find it there.
“Settings” or “options” in the game pause menu. Sometimes it matters what your monitor or TV frame rate is, too.
Fps is well below 30. That's how I feel making movements.
I am the kind of person who is perfectly fine with 30 fps.
yeah same. I only change it to make the game run smoother. same with "clouds" or dust particle settings. Those are like real processor eaters and I'd rather have a smooth game.
On PC many games have an option to show FPS.
It is a game from 1997.
It only shows resolutions.
I play it with Dos Box.
Okay... i don't know how you can show FPS there,
however with my technical knowledge i would guess the FPS is locked to the refreshrate of the analoge TV/Monitor, which is depending on your region, PAL for EU and Japan is 25FPS (or 25 HalfFPS as the lines are alternatingly built. the ray is building every second line switching between even and odd numbered lines)
or NTSC for US and i think UK at 30 FPS with no alternating lines.
