The beat is everything and it irk the fck outta me if the dudes rhythm is all off. Like nah stick to the beat mf. Stop. Listen to it. Catch it. Follow it. Now Lemme throw it back. Shit even my grandma still drop it like its hot 🤣 I mean think Michael Jackson Beat it! Think Queen Another One Bites the Dust! Think Santana Maria Maria!! Idgaf just find a beat and catch it 😂

I like partner dancing, mostly street latin derivatives. Best of all modern jive because it is more in the hands than the feet and you don't need much space. One of the good things about it you can dance modern jive with any girl. If she can't dance you can correct easily and lead strongly.

Outside partner dancing I like techno most - its great being on the beat and letting yourself go with it.

Though I don't really know the right way to dance, I apparently do have a sense of rhythm that's pretty good. I found that out playing Wii Music back in the day and I thought it was normal for me to do what I did, until I played with my younger stepbrother and watched how he flubbed every single note he was supposed to hit, meanwhile I was doing fine and hitting every button right on cue. It made me wonder if I'd make a decent percussionist.

I'm a musician and have a great sense of rhythm. That's not the problem. It's the dance "moves", posing and posturing that I never bothered to learn.

I've been to hundreds of concerts and certainly move, shake, jump around, and play air guitar and drums when inspired, but that's not exactly dancing.

I play music a bit so some rhythm. I don't think people realize how important it is. My opinion is blues music, clapton, hendrix et al are the best. Blues is always anticipating the next beat - when played well- and that's what makes it so good.
