I like partner dancing, mostly street latin derivatives. Best of all modern jive because it is more in the hands than the feet and you don't need much space. One of the good things about it you can dance modern jive with any girl. If she can't dance you can correct easily and lead strongly.

I can dance. I have been dropping it to the rhythm since I was in the womb. When ever there was music playing on radio and my mum was next to the radio, I was dropping it in her womb.
Though I don't really know the right way to dance, I apparently do have a sense of rhythm that's pretty good. I found that out playing Wii Music back in the day and I thought it was normal for me to do what I did, until I played with my younger stepbrother and watched how he flubbed every single note he was supposed to hit, meanwhile I was doing fine and hitting every button right on cue. It made me wonder if I'd make a decent percussionist.
I never got into dancing. I only did it because girls like it.
I'm a musician and have a great sense of rhythm. That's not the problem. It's the dance "moves", posing and posturing that I never bothered to learn.
I've been to hundreds of concerts and certainly move, shake, jump around, and play air guitar and drums when inspired, but that's not exactly dancing.

I play music a bit so some rhythm. I don't think people realize how important it is. My opinion is blues music, clapton, hendrix et al are the best. Blues is always anticipating the next beat - when played well- and that's what makes it so good.
Honestly I was always told that I have good rhythm but I flip like seal when I get in to my head. Last time I went to a friends dance the girls kept dragging me on to the dance floor and I had trouble even doing the YMCA… it was bad…😂😂😂

Being a musician, I have no problem with catching a rhythm, but I suck at dancing because I never liked to dance... The only dance that would motivate me is the tango, if a nice motivated female partner accepts me of course.

I don't know, I don't dance and when I say that, I mean even when I'm at home which is always alone and I listen to music, I don't even dance, not standing or sitting, I don't tap my feet or nothing, I just stay still like a piece of wood.
