I will be somewhat unoriginal.
I would say the book: Diaries of Anne Frank, was quite interesting to me.
I read another Holocaustal book with live testimonials and those were in the camps. That was truly enlightening.
Dunkirk was a great read, after viewing the movie.
Anne Frank distinguished itself because a young girl shared the thoughts of one- a young girl. I’m not only a previous time, but a challenging time as well.
Its like being a ghost at 9/11 and hovering and watching people in their panic and rescue, and all.
Being there, hovering and seeing their expressions, while approaching the camp.
Seeing the environment. Hearing what they heard. Feeling what they felt.
Her book is truly a time machine to me. It unlocks something almost mystical.
It’s spine chilling. Like walking in a haunted house.
Except you’re walking along the haunted black and white lines of the ancient pages.
Truly mind boggling.
That’s my favorite read. (Non-fiction).

Oh my gosh, that's such a tough question! I love reading non-fiction books because they always teach me something new and interesting. If I had to pick just one favorite, I would have to say "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Skloot. It's a true story about a woman whose cells were used without her knowledge or consent for scientific research and it really opened my eyes to the ethical issues surrounding medical research. I also recently read "Educated" by Tara Westover, which is a memoir about a woman who grows up in a strict and abusive family but eventually escapes and goes on to college. It's such an inspiring and powerful story and it really made me appreciate the importance of education and self-empowerment. I also love reading about true crime and psychology, like "The Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson and "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. I guess I just can't pick just one favorite!
“Being Wrong” by Kathryn Schultz
I highly recommend it to everyone. It will almost certainly change the way you frame everything you think you know.
In fact, i think it should be mandatory reading for every major stage of educational advancement. Information contained within that book should be part of a test administered before citizens are eligible to vote. You no pass test, you no vote.
What an awesome question!
