Has there ever been a documentary of a tragedy that has made you tear up a bit?

For me, Vice's Dark Side of the Ring documentary episode of the whole Chris Benoit Murder-Suicide tragedy has been one of the very few things that has come close to making me tear up.

Nah, but I was upset about the Chris Benoit one, which I finally watched about 3 weeks ago - one thing stood out to me more in that, I just couldn't remember what it was.

For some reason, I've been OBSESSED with his whole case in the last 2 months or so.

I grew up loving WWE and he was definitely a big star, but around the time of the whole incident, I grew out of it.

Ultimately, I have mixed feelings on the whole thing, like one one hand, I feel sorry for him and what he went through, especially when Eddie passed, he seemed more heartbroken than anyone.

That being said, his wife and son didn't deserve what happened to them either and whilst he did have severe brain damage from all his diving headbutts, it surely shouldn't be enough to take the lives of those who should be more dear to him than everyone else in the world.

Part of me wants to believe he's innocent, due to nostalgia and admiring his in ring work, which was undoubtedly top class and there are some conspiracy theories out there that could support him being innocent, although at least some of them have been debunked.

It's sad to see someone who gave their life to the industry, didn't care about his own health, was fantastic in the ring, just basically have their legacy almost erased, but let's be real who can blame WWE for not promoting him, despite the fact that you can still find some of his stuff on the network, apparently.

At the very most, I'd say there's a 10% chance he's innocent.

Yeah, I myself was a massive Chris Benoit and pro wrestling fan back in the day, and when both him and Eddie Guerrero died, that's when pro wrestling died for me. I was initially having trouble believing Chris Benoit was 100% guilty until more evidence came, and then I learned to swallow the bitter pill and accept that he really murdered his own wife and kid.
