We’re a week away from the release of Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. And about 2-3 years away from the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Now many people have speculated that Secret Wars will involve the archnemesis of The Fantastic Four, Victor Von Doom. Better known as Dr Doom. And if that’s true it’s only a matter of time before he appears in a post-credit scene in one of the movies beforehand. A fantastic four movie’s been confirmed for the MCU so I figure that he’s on the way. But given that Thanos first appeared in a post-credit scene it’s only necessary that Doom does the same. So how likely is he to appear in the upcoming kickstart to Phase 5

Not impossible but with the upcoming movies on radar it would be more fitting to get another Adam warlock post credit scene. Doom is mostly earthbound or in different dimensions. I am not sure he would get introduced in a manner of the mad titan. I could definitely be wrong here but we know Kang is the new archnemesis for the mcu so there could be good guys coming, Maybe even Silver surfer or we get to know more about Eros/Starfox.
My logic is kinda lacking there knowing Quantumania is about other dimensions. Its more a wishfull thinking.
Yeah but think about it. Kang is a descendant of Reed Richards. His real name is Nathaniel Richards and given that Thanos’s first MCU appearance was 6 years before he became the big baddy and that were 3 years away from infinity war, I think it only be fair that Doom appear any day now
I see, yeah. I just dont see him as that big of a threat compared to other known antagonists. He seems like more an fantastic4 solo enemy. That beeing the case I never really read something where he was the antagonist. The comics I read he was mostly antihero or his own faction but not the main enemy. (with the exception of battleworld but I only ever read the thor part)
Not that big an enemy? He’s one of the greatest sorcerers in the marvel universe. He has an intellect that could only be leveled or beaten by Reed Richards. He runs his own country and he even stole the powers of other marvel characters
Like I said, I only ever read his anti hero stories. Black panther also did run his own country. Yes he is a powerfull sorcerer but was always surpassed on pure magical potential by Strange, so that he had to rely on his mechanic/electronic devices. On the non magical side he is mostly surpassed by Reed Richard. He is great when it comes to fusing magic and technology and maybe the best in the universe with that. I can see him being the antagonist of a fantastic 4 movie maybe with a crossover from strange. I want to see more of the vishanti. But as they red-conned the eye I dont see them coming in the near future.
Well then you have a lot more to read. Because it’s only a matter of time before he makes his 3rd/4th live action appearance
