Why is that haven’t seen more animated anthology series based on toylines?

Super Sunday is known for Jem and Inhumanoids back in the 80s. Anthology series based on toylines needs to return. Why is that we haven’t had more of these?

The only 2 reasons I would see why there has not been more of those animated anthologies is because they did not sell well in the past and because people have moved away from them.

Producers and manufacturers are dependent of the success of their sale and if something does not sell well, then they discontinue a product.

I am sure that you must have observed the same phenomenon in retail stores. There are products you like and next time you look for it, it is no longer available, simply because production has been halted due to the fact that they did not sell enough of them.
