for this time period i agree because he has similar popularity and frenzy compared to MJ but the thing about harry is that he's mostly appealing for younger people, MJ was loved around the world by all ages and when comparing the two overall then MJ is better

I'm a mobile DJ, and have been for 38 years. I do gigs for people of all ages, including weddings, birthdays, school dances, and many others where pre-teens and teens are there in force. I have never, ever had a request for Harry Styles. I have had many requests from this demographic for MJ, as well as Prince. I used to get requests for One Direction occasionally a decade ago, but I actually get more requests for Justin Timberlake/NSYNC, and of course for Justin Beiber, than I ever got for One Direction, and still zero for Harry Styles.

So, I have to call bullshit on this premise.
