Aren't most baby showers done pretty late into the pregnancy? My sister-in-law had hers like... 2 weeks before she was scheduled to be induced.

I don't really think it matters when you do it or how you do it, there's no set tradition when it comes to baby showers other than to do them before the baby gets there.

That's the thing. I feel 8 months is pushing it... that's my whole thing. My cousin is throwing it and chose the Date and I realized after telling everyone how far I'd be and feel that's too close to due date but wanted others opinions. Thank you

They are done late and after Sex is determined. Give everyone a month to buy gift.

It depends on how you feel about it. My best friend had hers at like four or five months.
