Do you think Netflix has become less popular since Amazon prime, Disney, and Hulu came out?

Prior to cracking down on password sharing, Netflix handily dominated the list of most watched streaming shows. I have no idea what it looks like right now, but I recall HBO Max and Disney+ each only had one highly watched show on the list, and everything else was Netflix. Disney is supposedly going to merge Plus and Hulu into one service because both are struggling to justify their cost right now,
In my opinion, all of the major streaming services are meh at best, universally owned and operated by trash companies. It's very much a race to the bottom, with each only having a handful actually worth seeing. It's pretty comparable to trying to compare cell phone services or airlines in this regard.
Netflix pulled some BS of wanting me to "upgrade" my account to use it in my own work office. I canceled it. With Amazon I get all their shows plus lots of freebie channels. I do not miss Netflix. And If they get some series I really want I can always sign up for a month, binge it, then drop it again.
No, but it certainly has since enforcing the no shared passwords/households rule.

I just noticed that Netflix had done what they threatened to do. They don't allow password sharing anymore. I think this just shows corporate greed and will trigger a boycott that will make Bud Light look popular again.
I heard the same thing, but I still get it for free. I think it's a bluff. And i remember when Netflix went woke. That lasted about a minute. And the Bud Light thing was about the dumbest thing of the century. But companies are jumping on the theme, so I guess money is no longer the goal.
I joined Amazon, but their movies were crap. I wouldn't pay a dime for Disney, because they went to the dark side. I tried Hulu, but that dog didn't hunt. Online games are fun, but the kids can drive you crazy. lol
My brother has a family account that allows 5 people on at once. I don't know why they care who's using it, as long as it's just five people. I listen to Buck and Clay on the radio, and when Netflix went woke, they told people to binge watch their favorites, and then dump the service for half the year. People did it, and Netflix took the hint.
I bought a computer in Thailand. I was confused why they all had blank screens. I asked the guy what operating system they had. He said they have anything I want. They literally will put whatever you want on the computer for free. I think only Americans buy stuff like software. I had a Russian guy ask me if it's true that Americans actually bought software. I was kind of shocked at the question. I bet the whole world gets Netflix for free except us. lol
I was amazed. He put on the operating system and the entire office suite for free. I should have asked for Photoshop! lol
@WalnutButter It was like that here in the old days (the 90s). I worked for a software sales organization and people would call and order on copy of something and you just know that they weree putting it on all their machines. When I worked at a local hospital the boss went to a trade show and came back with a copy of MS Office but it was a Beta copy so he did not pay for it. Soon we put it on eey computer in the hospital. All for free. Now Microsoft makes you jump through a lot of hoops to get the OS on a computer. Half the time the licensing process fails and you have to screw around with it to get it to work. fortunately there are hacks posted on the internet.
I think the only thing keeping Microsoft alive, is their office suite. I think the only thing keeping Apple alive, is the logo everyone wants you to see.
I just use a Chromebook and it just works. I've talked to people with very expensive Apple computers. I ask them what they use them for. They all say they just use them to surf the web.
What a waste.
I bought one because it was on sale, but I don't like it. I like Android.
The product they are putting out right now really sucks balls. I am watching FUBAR right now and its not very good.
Is that the one with Arnold in it?
@WalnutButter Yes, I find it quite goofy.
Arnold is a horrible actor and Chuck isn't much better.
@WalnutButter His action movies were ok.
There are two things I despise in movies.
Too much action
Sex
Crashing 200 cars doesn't make up for a shitty writer.
Sex scenes doesn't make up for a shitty writer.
I like this movie.
@WalnutButter i saw that movie, I liked it.
Predator was my favorite Arnold movie.
I recently learned that scientists believe they can now upload a human mind to a computer. This came about because some very rich and powerful people want to reduce the population. Of course, they want to stay, they just don't want YOU to stay. (Bill Gates is one of them)
So as an alternative to poisoning people, they can offer to just upload you. It's hard to imagine, but maybe it's like living in the Matrix.
@WalnutButter Interesting.
@exitseven
He's a brilliant AI guy, and the anti-AI people shot him with a poison bullet. His wife uploaded his mind to the Internet; He had access to all the knowledge in the world. He could heal the blind.
