I may be assuming this. But. Did you notice that Netflix content gets lower ratings on imDb, as compared to PriveVideo's, on an average?

The pattern I mentioned in the question... I have been noticing it from 1 year or so.

This has been happening so much that I have started to stop taking the imDb ratings in consideration for any Netflix movie or series.

Since the Netflix movies and series have been really good, but the imDb ratings were down for that content; whereas PrimeVideo's content is getting above 7 ratings consistently. I find it a bit more than a coincidence.

Have you noticed this too?

I haven't noticed that. I rarely watch Netflix and I don't have Prime Video.

I would never go by ratings. Usually critics are paid money to promote a terrible movie.

I find usually the worse a product is the more money is spent trying to market it to you. For instance Netflix was alway bigging up how great Startrek std was but yet Startrek TNG, DS9, VOY and enterprise are watched far more and rewatched again snd agai.
