What keeps a guy from approaching you, if you believe they may be into you?

So at work there is this guy who I noticed would always steal glances at me whenever he sees me or if I am walking somewhere and he's around he would find a way to walk behind me. I want to ask him myself but since we don't really talk at all, I don't want to assume anything.

I'd figure if I'm into her then pretty much everyone else is, too, and so she would know I'm into her and if I was the lucky guy she picked for the night or whatever she would just say so.

At least that's how it was when I was around your age. Now it's more practical in that there only needs to be a reason unrelated to "approaching" her to talk with her, like if we both volunteer for the same thing or one of us is teaching the other cross-job stuff. But, especially at work, if there is no good excuse to be talking to a girl then I generally don't.

Might have a girlfriend or think you have a boyfriend. Lack of self-confidence. No people skills. Might be gay.

There's a million different reasons he won't approach you

Sometimes I find a girl very sexy, but I have no interest in her romantically. It depends on your personality more than anything, unless he just wants to bang and dip

And not even that your personality is bad, it just might not line up with the type of girl he goes after

Sometimes I avoid girls who I find too serious, too mature, too shy, too annoying, you name it...

You should talk to him with a generic hi hello. You will know yourself. Trust your gut feeling.
