Should I assume she's single or not till more time has passed?

So I am talking to old friend of mine that says she just dumped her boyfriend becuase the relationship was getting super toxic she didn't go into details but I heard they have a on n off agin relationships. She told me she could sleep I assume it was becuase of depressed that's when she told me about her break up. I just told her to see a thepaist&hang out with firends. I notice she still has photos of her&ex boyfriend on facebook and still has one of his accounts as a friend on facebook. She did deactive her account for 6 days then reactvied it today. She had a profile photo&background photo of him which she took down last week that's how I knowm she may have dumped him or got dumped.

Should I assume she's trying to work things out with him or that she simply just didn't have the time to remove everthing yet? Or that maybe she's just taking time to think or heal before removing all traces of him? I only find out she dumped him becuase she said she was having trouble sleeping.

First check what made the relationship toxic, it could be her. Don't walk into a rebounding toxic person. So be the supporting friend until you can determine what really went on. And you are sure it was mostly him being a prick. Otherwise her status is irrelevant.

Honestly I have zero idea she just said the relationship was getting toxic so she dumped him. But I do knowm he was her rebound she dated a guy right before him about 5 or 6 years guy. She said her parents didn't want her dating the ex then ended up dating this guy less then 6 weeks later after cutting off contrct with her ex before him

Yes you save time and a headache , you don't want to be with a toxic person. So dodge the bullet instead of getting involved in it and get out of it. There must be better things to put effort in.

Assume she is single of she did the breaking up. You may be too late as most women have already picked the next one before they break up with the first-and there will be overlap with others who will not break up until they have already landed the next one.
