ha, I like Ozzy. He's so free spirited and does not care. More people should crossdress and express their freedom. The hell with the judgers and bullies! They're a bunch of losers that didn't get enough love from mommy or daddy anyway. I respect people who aren't afraid to do whatever they want and have no fear what others think! Some friends and I went out crossdressed on Halloween to this bar once, and it felt liberating! Freedom baby, yeah! Ozzy knows how to express his freedom.

From what I understand, the main reason he sometimes wore women's clothes was because his wife would lock up all his clothes, to keep him from going out to get drunk/high, so he raided her closet and put her dresses on so he could go out to the bars and drink.

This was a trend in the 70s to stir up controversy to get free publicity. When you are desperate for attention (because attention leads to fame and fortune), controversy was a good way to get it. It wasn't political back then, just marketing.
