I remember watching the world premiere of this video in probably 5th or 6th grade. (Shout out to Kool & The Gang’s “Summer Madness for the sample that made this instrumental, that’s another classic, but I saw that posted already) Contrary to popular belief, “This Is How We Do IT” is NOT Montell Jordan’s best song, but rather, Somethin’ 4 Da Honeyz (with a ‘z’) was…it’s barely a summer song, but he says “summertime” a couple times, and I wasn’t listening to this stuff in February, haha This one was goofy as hell, more a funny novelty song than a truly “good” song, but it has a place in my heart. I want to say Disney might’ve put this group together? Might be pulling that out of left field, though, don’t quote me on it, haha. These guys and gals were called “The Party”, and they made a summer vacation song titled…wait for it…”Summer Vacation.” This came out in 1991, and MAN, does everything about this look just like 1991 to me😂 “Let’s kick the ballistics and cooooolllllldddddd get STUPID”…. For something made this century, lmao, I’d go Sunset In July by 311…. OK, that’s probably enough out of me, haha

the third one on your list.. remember the 90's.. boy.. :) california girls is one also california dreamin... and these.. I remember when first heard 'we are young', so vivdly that night. so many more songs... but, it's mainly the music part..
