Sure. Probably would prefer just grabbing it and streaming it at home. Could invite some mutuals friends, cook, snacks, the whole thing. That way, if its not good we can stop and do something else and if it is good, we're in ideal company.

I haven't actually heard anyone comment about the movie at all outside of about what stances it takes or how those upset people. That's all I hear about it so I have no idea what it is even about, other than Barbie and Ken being in it.

Sure I wouldn’t care. I love watching movies. She’s watches a lot of the things I watch. There’s been a number of movies that I didn’t think I’d like but ended up changing my mind. Besides I can get me machos, popcorn, soda, a pickle and some candy so even if it’s a bad movie at least I’ve got snacks.

I'd be up for it because it looks like a fun ride, and Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are both hot.

I wouldn't force a partner not interested in it to see it, though. That's a dick move.

I'm sure I can find other friends interested in it, or I can go alone.

That's a few solid hours of movie plus commute. That's time someone could spend on other things, if they don't want to see it.

Two of the movies have hit the cineplex this wee in my town. Openhimer and barbie. I went alone to watch Openhimer, and regreted. Its a documentary almost. Could have easily preferred Barbie, for Margot Robbie, but my partner is not a girly girl hence no chance.
