I have, I thought it was funny sure but the plot felt very rushed and the message itself is a bit weird because (spoiler alert) Barbie world is meant to reflect the real world in reverse where the barbies rule the world and the kens are 'just kens', which I think is extreme because women have never been 'just women' throughout history, plenty of women have worked or run households or even countries in terms of queens, so I think the film kinda dismissed that by making it seem like women were vacuous nobodies. Plus the message at the end, where they give the kens an INCH, aka allow them to become low level judges but not supreme court, is questionable too because is that a reflection of how women were only given an inch or is it advocating that kind of thing? It was still a feminist film obviously, I especially liked the moment where barbie called the old lady beautiful because that was really sweet, and the double standards speech that gloria said was pretty on point too (about how women were meant to be this but also that, protect mens feelings etc) but i felt the film was pretty overhyped

Haven’t been to the movies forever. Not interested in the movie.
It's a "critique" of extreme feminists in the same way that "Birth of a Nation" is a "critique" of the KKK. That shouldn't surprise anyone considering who's involved in the movie, yet I don't think I've seen a single critical review, even from people who religiously follow hollywood trends acknowkedge that. Trying to call it a critique of radical feminism when they have a literal guy playing doctor barbie, and spend half of the movie projecting their views on the real world makes that a very hard argument to make that sounds more like projection or damage control to me. The movie would've been significantly better, and the messaging more effective if it all took place in Barbie world as a projection of the girl playing with the dolls similar to how Lego Movie did it.
I have not seen it and wouldn’t want to.
I know you aren’t a fan of Thaïs D’Escufon but she said on Twitter “Barbie is one of the worst feminist-woke films I have ever seen.”
I would recommend seeing Oppenheimer; it was a very thought provoking film.

I haven't seen it yet but everyone I've talked to who has, including my oldest son, his girlfriend, and my wife and daughter say it's great.
I haven’t seen it.. probably won’t just because I rarely go to the theater. I’ve heard mixed things about it though. Some people really enjoyed it, some really hated it. Regardless it’s making a lot of money.
It's very silly just like " free guy " with Ryan Reynolds... and it's a little too preachy... the only good thing about this movie is Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling because they're so likable and margot robbie really can act but also not toxic and annoying... I wouldn't recommend it... it's not entertaining or a feel good movie...
I have not seen it but I've heard mixed reviews. It sounds like it's definitely political and I am sooooo sick of Hollywood trying to incluence people politically. I won't see it.
No it's again another woke movie shoved down our throats.
I saw Barbie on Saturday and I thought it was great

I haven't seen it and I probably won't. I'm clearly not a part of the target audience.
I hear that movie was way too political for its own good.
My only real reason to watch it is that I like Ryan Gosling movies!
