Whats your honsst opinionof Barbie the movie?

I loved 😍 the film. It was funny and innovative. I wasn't convinced within the first 15 min, I feared it was going to be a bland musical with no good bones. I was pleasantly surprised once Barbie goes to the Real World. The movie had heart and a major political ans societal change that we are in the midst of. I enjoyed their was a deeper meaning and jot just fluff and glam with a boring plot.

I haven't seen it but my opinion from reviewers and the response it had generated is they knew their audience when they made it. So certainly works on that level.

But I can tell it won't be my cup of tea so I'll give it a miss.

Hated it. I was surrounded by a bunch of 15 year old girls wearing pink and felt very out of place. And the movie itself was so childish. It was a waste of brain cells.

Deeper meaning? It was typical Hollywood political garbage. I'm tired of Hollywood trying to tell us how to think. I wish I hadn't seen it tbh.

My sister and her friend dragged me to see it. It was the worst 2 hours of my life in recent memory. What an aweful film. I can't imagine anyone over the age of 16 actually liking it.
