Is anyone else creeped out by adults that want to go to Disneyland but don’t have children?

The last time I went to Disneyland was with wife and sister shortly after they opened California Adventure. My sister had a season pass at the time.

Before that, though, as an adult, I still liked Main Street, New Orleans Square, and some of the other sections of the park even if I wasn't attracted to many of the rides anymore. I guess I did like the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Jungle Cruise and a few of the older rights, though, maybe for the nostalgia.

Some of the shows and parades were fun.

The thing is, Disneyland opened a year and a half after I was born and we didn't live far away, so our family went there at least once year, often with my grandparents. It was inexpensive, wholesome, American, and fun for the whole family. I have some fantastic memories.

Even when I was in high school, general admission tickets were only like $6. My friends and I would go there at night to see bands, dance, meet girls, walk around smoking doobies or fire up on certain rides.

But once it got really expensive, I lost interest. I figured that I had been there and done that. It was the end of an era.
Plus I had no interest in the increasing focus on their movies and animated characters.

Then they got woke. I also realized that they were grooming kids into some sick shit.
I wouldn't go near Disneyland again if they paid me.

I have never been there but I imagine there would be cool stuff for an adult to do. It would be creepy if the hung out around the kiddie rides.

What kind of person thinks Disney is just for kids? You do realize they literally have rides and areas at their parks for adults, such as Epcot right?

I would like to go to Disney not just because I like the cartoons and rides, but as a kid, my parents couldn't afford to take me. But now that I'm an adult with a decent income and no kids to weigh me down, I'd personally love to go to Disney! If anything, most adults would probably enjoy Disney MORE without kids: cheaper expenses, less stress, and you could enjoy the rides and attractions.

Uh I hate that shit. My brother and his wife are Disney obsessed (no kids just a ton of cats). It's for real annoying like grow up a little and stop wasting money to go to disney.

I have a bunch of kids and won't even go there. I'd rather take my kids to the beach or camping for fun so they can have real experiences in the world compared to some make believe stuff. Maybe I'm just negative but I don't get the disney hype.

Disneyland isn't just for kids and there are a lot of people who love going to theme/amusement parks. It's not creepy. 😂
