Do you watch anime, if yes what's your favorite genre and current favorite anime.

The only cartoons I watch are the good old fashioned studio cartoons from the fifties and possibly early sixties that were really good in terms of storyline, drawings and characters.

I am not a fan of modern days CGI that have no stories to them, mainly all those from Japan. They are badly created and will never compete and compare to a Disney cartoon such as Bambi, Cinderella and the like.

I don't think one can compare a traditional cartoon which required thousand upon thousand of very precise drawings with the modern day computer generated animation movies that are finished in a week or so.

I usually prefer watching shonen anime, but shoujou also has its appeal, as well as some sports anime. My all time favorite is the fullmetal alchemist franchise, the last thing I watched was Demon Slayer and while it wasn’t necessarily bad it also wasn’t really my favorite. I kept seeing opportunities to really dive into the characters, and they just kind of pushed it aside to focus on making cool fight sequences. Not to mention every “powerful” moment with any female characters requires cleavage to be shown, but that’s a personal pet peeve of mine.

On occasion yes. I used to watch it more when I was younger.
Favorites of all time: Detective Conan, FMA brotherhood, Berserk, One Piece, Naruto, Helsing ultimate, Parasite, Fate series, Dororo, Death Note, Monster.
From the never ones: Horimiya, In spectre, JJK, COTE, Worlds finest assassin reincarnated as an aristocrat.

I don't know the anime genres by name, but I like animes like Samurai Champloo, Berserk, Monster, and Death Note.

I'm overall pretty picky when it comes to anime, since I don't like sexualized animes, but some I enjoy that are less serious like Naruto, Bleach, My Hero Academia, etc.

Definitely. I'm hardcore anime watcher and veteran in a sense. My favorite genre is romance, then slice of life, magic etc. I'm not into horrors, thriller like stuff and idol stuff.
