There's only certain ones I like. I watched this one that had good recomenddations called "Those who hunt Elves." And these elves had marks on their bodies and the heroes needed to find the elves, so they could find the marks. Kind of like a Easter egg. I don't remember the rating because I remember sometimes, they would strip the clothes off the elf to find the mark, lol. It was a good serious though. It was a mini series I believe. There was also those who hunt elves 2. I liked them both, but loved the first series.

I read more manga than I watch anime, but it's still really good when there's amazing animation, or a story that's more involved than "S ranked sword master!" or something similar. Nothing makes the weeb bone more noodly than something so formulaic that I think I'm having deja vu... unless there are cat ears.

  Depends on what you like and how long of a series.
  Beach, death note, hellsing ultimate, karin, devil is a part-timmer, one punch man, fruits basket, vampire knight, xxxholic, Trigun, chainsaw man, Inuyasha, black lagoon, elfin lied, flcl, ... I'll have to think of more.

  Those are not considered anime. Voltron and Transformers were made in America based off of some anime. Thundercats was animated in Japan but finalized in America
