The best one for me was a super concert during the Christmas season in 2011. It was The Fray, Breath Carolina, Andy Grammer, and Colbie Collait. It was like $25 back then for the floor section, and it was standing room only. The show was also sold out

Omg you just named everyone i love!! I still dance to Breathe Carolinas Blackout. The best for me would be between The Millenium Tour (but they sounded washed up) or Icona Pop because the lights flickered and i wasn't too shy to dance like crazy. If i ever get to see Usher or Beyonce, I’ll be ecstatic

Oh man, I’ve been to so many, it’s hard to say. I just went to one last night, Rancid and Agnostic Front. The punk/hardcore crowd did not disappoint me in the mosh pit, yet I still walked out of it feeling like I dominated it🦍 I took a mean accidental headbutt to the temple that wobbled me for a second, but they couldn’t drop me💪 But from a pit perspective that may have been the best.
I’d say Roger Waters of Pink Floyd put on the most elaborate show, with props and effects, etc, so that was a fun time.
The Roots put on a really good performance, many moons ago, probably like ‘02.
I paid through the damn nose to go to it, but being right up front for Blink-182 earlier this year was pretty special.Honestly, I’ve never really been to a “bad” concert. 50 Cent was probably the worst performer, but the show itself was a good time, so it didn’t matter.

i'll give two
1. lauryn hill 1999. this was the first tour after she released the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Somehow I scored 2nd row seats for $70 (crazy to think now days). the album was amazing and she was in her full glory. It was an amazing concert that i remember vividly.
2. the rolling stones 50 and counting. i was a huge stones fan and this was my first time seeing them. it was the 50th anniversary of their first album and the first time they toured america in about 5 years. they were epic, played hits and deeper cuts. sooooo good

1 yI haven’t been to any yet 😭 I’ve planned to go to 2 in the past, but covid cancelled one of them and I ended up getting really sick (not with covid) and being unable to go to the other concert. I’ve got my ticket to see Foo Fighters next year, so fingers crossed nothing gets in the way!

Been to?
I don't really go to a lot of concerts. Probably 21 Pilots. I mean it was nice, but as I say, I don't go to a lot so there wasn't a lot to compare to.
A concert I wish I was at and looks like it was awesome was Lynyrd Skynyrd 1977 Oakland Colisium. I watched the performance of Freebird there and I was like "wow".
Also, seeing McCartney play Hey Jude in London or New York, the entire crowd singing the outro chorus of nah-nah-nah-nah. I wish I could have seen stuff like that.

1 yBack in 2009 I saw Billy Joel and Elton John together when they did the Face to Face tour. Absolutely amazing and mind blowing.

Did they duet?
- 1 y
Yes they did! They started together with about 3 or 4 of each of their songs, then Billy did a small set on his own, then Elton did a small set. At the end, they did about another 5 songs from each catalogue (so about 10 in total), with the pianos facing each other. And there was a 3 song encore where they also duetted.

Here they are on Jay Leno, years ago, singing Piano Man https://youtu.be/fcYSSYnf_l8?si=NAmB3ffR48q_zkuR
- 1 y
And here they are singing Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, at Madison Square Garden, 2003 for Elton’s “One Night Only” concert and DVD. https://youtu.be/wO25dtgUEJE?si=k_RaOWbYwB27-EQV
If you look up other performances from One Night Only, Elton duets with many other people on his songs. It’s amazing. - 1 y
Oh my mistake, it’s from 2000.

@musicbrain5. Lucky ducky. Would've loved to have seen that.
- 1 y
@Mansearching It’s the best concert I’ve ever been to. The whole show was about 3 1/2 hours long, and it was all hits, all the way through.

I would have loved to hear them do Scenes from an Italian Restaurant together
- 1 y
I would have loved that too, but Billy sang that one on his own.

It was a Christmas concert at a church in Hamburg Germany. The choirs of several local churches got together and sang several Christmas songs... in German. Stille Nacht (Silent Night) was especially poignant.

- Opeth to name just a few. As you can see, I like actual live bands, not people miming to backing tracks.

@Nikki1989. RUSH? REALLY? I understand, Neal was one of top 3 drummers on the planet. No doubt. But Geddy Lee sounds like a hamster. I'm just not a fan. No offense.
- 1 y
@Nikki1989 I straight up love Rush but before I found out what the band looks like I thought Geddy Lee was a woman. True story!

@Nikki1989. Ex boss loved RUSH. My older brothers love RUSH. I know they're out there. I'm just not one of them. But to each their own.

Easy. It was Rammstein. Lights and pyrotechnics were off the scale. And the sound was like it was alive. I bet you could see and hear the show from space.

everything Lindsey Stirling concerts is the best.
Now, lemme tell you the worst/most upsetting concert. I saw what was left of Lynyrd Skynyrd a few years ago. Everything was amazing, but they waited to play Free Bird for their "encore" song, as half the people were walking out thinking it was over. That's nucking futs to do that to your fans in my opinion.

Motorhead at Port Vale, 1981. Good times! My hearing recovered after a few days.

Motorhead were godlike in 1981. R. I. P. Lemmy, eddie and Phil.

I’ve been to a lot of concerts. So I will go w the most recent one. Metallica, about two weeks ago here in Phoenix, Az. Suicidal Tendencies started out the night, followed by Five Finger Death Punch, then Metallica. Pit tickets.
00 Reply 5.7K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I saw Chicago and the Beach Boys. They were really good, they both had a ton of material and then all came out and did an encore.

Funny I've just never been into concerts. Too crowded and loud for me I guess.

Sadly I haven't gone to any yet but I want to see Paramore in concert.
02 Reply- 1 y
I’ve seen them, they were really good, except lately they want to pretend their stuff from the 2000s didn’t happen. All We Know Is Falling is my favorite album from them, and they play ZERO songs from it. They’ll give you 2 or 3 from Riot!, and Haley stopped doing Misery Business for a while, but I think she’s doing it again, I saw a recent video and she just let the crowd sing the “once a whore, you’re nothing more, I’m sorry, that’ll never change” part, as she smirked and wagged her finger at them, haha. But they definitely go heavy on “New” Paramore, which I’m not quite as into, so just know that and check some set lists online before spending on a ticket. Good performance though, so you won’t be let down on that level👍
- 1 y
Wow thanks for telling me. I may reconsider seeing them then.

I'm not doing this often... But i guess it would be
