Lyrics anyone. I heard this today?

I heard this on the radio this morning and it occurred to me that I have not heard this in years. It was a big hit way back when. This song just resonated with me when I thought about what was going on in my life back then. Be honest, how many people sung along with the chorus?

I remember that song well. I think it was a top 20 hit in the early 70s.
I read that Stephen Stills was the guitarist on it.
I never related to the song on an emotional level because I was never in a similar situation. But it's still a great recording.

@Lliam I played Rugby freshman year in college. One day in practice one of the older guys started singing this song. Soon we were all singing this song as we did our drills and workout.
