I never know what to do when it comes to flowers. My ex alway told me that she did not see the point of giving something that was going to die. So one year for valentines I brought a miniature rose bush to her at work. She likes gardening. But I was wrong because all the other girls at her work got cut roses and she didn’t…. I was in the doghouse big time over that.

It's a running joke between my wife and I. She loves plants, but not a big fan of roses. So we'll be at a plant store and I will point out the roses and say something like "lets pick out a bunch roses like I promised you." And she'll be, "what?" And I'll be, "oh yah, that's right...
