The Terror of the Teufelsrad - Sexist Cruelty or German Fun?

In Munich during Oktoberfest, the Teufelsrad is an interesting thing. A group of women pile up in the center of the platform and then the platform spins, with alarge ball striking them and ropes trying to pull them off. Eventually. one by one, all the women spin off, until one remains... and then she is spun off too.

A huge crowd watches this.

What do you think... is this Sexist Cruelty or just German Fun?

It has nothing to do with women. It’s an old school amusement park ride for >100 years. I don’t know why in this particular video there are only girls on it.

The announcer calls out people with certain trait and they rush to the middle of the circle. NOT JUST WOMEN lol. Guys are there too, they do it the majority of the time bc they are the ones mostly doing it
