Sentenced in July 2023 to 18 months in prison by the court for incitement to hatred, defamation, and insults, Liebich appealed the conviction. Taking advantage of the German Self-Determination Act on gender, which came into force on November 1, 2024, allowing individuals to officially change their first name and gender by simple declaration at the civil registry, Liebich became Marla-Svenja Liebich without altering physical appearance. They’re a neo-nazi, an objectively, universally recognized piece of shit. Of course they would abuse the system for their favor if they thought they could get away with it. However, much like the criticism of all welfare programs in the US that receive the same criticisms about the abuse of said program to commit fraud, those individuals only make up 1% of everyone who uses the program. One bad apple doesn’t mean you throw out the whole barrel, right?

I know people will think I'm cruel, but in this case I'd force him to have the operation, a simple declaration is too easy. Even if he says he's sorry and doesn't want to be a woman after all, I'd still force him.

I think that men's prisons shouldn't be worse than women's prisons. That is obviously unfair. Why are we giving criminals better or worse detention considitions based on their gender?
