Do you think it is right to remove a persons accomplishment because they were a Nazi?

Around the year, 2000 , people found out Friedrick Wegener had ties to the Nazi and the condition, that he discovered, was renamed to granulomatosis with polyangitis. This stripped his name from being remembered in the history books.

Do you think it is right to strip people of their accomplishments in life just because they were nazis?
