Social networking? No, I do not have the interest level in connecting with others just for the sole purpose of networking. I need to genuinely like them or something they're doing and I do it by action rather than by charming them socially.

So, within my career and in others areas before I have done networking through doing favors even if I barely know them. I do it because I genuinely want to help, but I also know it'll help make myself "allies." This can help for future business deals, building a good reputation, or for anything I might need a favor for.

Yes, I know Networking. But I am studying Could Computing because everything is moving to the Cloud and my job requires me to know it. They're paying for my training because I am good at networking with Cisco routers. Networking on the Cloud is almost the same thing but a different process. I just need to relearn some networking fundamentals while using a Cloud Environment.
