In your opinion, what movie would have done better if it were a TV show?

The Dark Tower. I thought it couldn't be made into a movie, and then I saw the movie, and now I'm CERTAIN they can't. But it COULD work on TV. Maybe as a miniseries; you'd definitely need something more narratively limited than the usual approach, but those can work.

Same kind of difference as me, about a millionaire art dealer who befriends a homeless man and gives him a place to live after his wife’s death. People can bond more easily with characters they see every day, instead of an unknown group of people. And relationships at that level, are too complex to be expressed in a short movie, and personality changes are triggered by more than just a few basic events. They could have made a series out of the movie.

Harry Potter, love the movie but the 4 / 5 and 6 and ways too long to be put into one single movie.
