Does having wisdom teeth removed change the shape of the face?

I had all four wisdom teeth removed when I was 20 years old (two of them were impacted), and it did change the shape of my face a little bit. I'm a guy, and it slightly squared my jaw a little, which was an improvement anyway. When I went home to visit my mom a few months later (I was in the military) she opened the door, and it took her about 2 seconds before she realized it was me. She also wasn't expecting me, but still - she did say she could see my face was a little different. But it was all good, only I noticed it really, and my immediate family.

It changed my face in a positive way - my jaw was a bit more square afterward.

My four incisors and the teeth next to them actually became straighter. They were never that bad, but they actually improved a bit. I don’t think it changed the shape of my face.

Mine came in with all four tops facing forward. They had to go into my jaw, break them up and removed them in 13 pieces. My jaw swelled up and I looked like Jay Leno (to me). Doctor told me to walk around the block a couple times.
It worked. Swelling went down. No permanent damage (minus an issue with my jaw from a previous car accident as a kid)

It didn't for me and I wasn't even told it was a possibility. So I don't know.

It did not change the shape of my face, but it did help relieve some crowding of my front teeth.

just for a week or so. Then the swelling goes down and you go back to normal.

Won't a hole form on the face?

You can feel the hole where the tooth was but that will go away in a few weeks.

it can, but those are your backup molars, so unless they are causing you pain and cannot be surfaced properly, don't remove them.

I’ve had 3 removed including one that was right near my vein and impacted and it never altered my face

No but PLEASE keep your mouth wet for 48 hours to avoid "dry socket"!!!
