I have and it felt very much like fake feminism in many ways; as if emancipation of a woman was mainly achieved by promiscuity while neglecting the other parts the movie just briefly touched - like Bella educating herself and becoming an adult, an independent person who can think for herself instead of functioning as a playball for the men in her life.
I haven't read the novel but apparently, the (male) filmmaker left out the whole ending that was a huge and important part of the story. And instead, he just focused on the sex-centered parts. It's even weirder if you consider that Bella is technically a small child and every man, except a brief acquaintance, is hyper-focused on her body and sexuality. Even her "father" only proposes the fact that "even if he wanted to, he couldn't have sex with Bella" bc he's a Eunuch. That's the only thing that keeps him from an inappropriate relationship with the child he created, according to the movie.
Every female friends and co-workers of mine felt uncomfortable about Poor Things while my male friends and co-workers celebrated it. So I'd say that's more than interesting, but definitely not surprising as they deem sexual deliberation as the peak of feminism, seemingly.
Plus, it was way too long. I just wanted to leave the theatre like others did during the movie.

No but I want to see it. Might watch it today or tomorrow since it's on Hulu and I have it.
It was quite strange but yeah I liked it but then I like Emma stone so maybe I’m biased. A bit like Jennifer Lawrence movies. For me they don’t have to be “that” good
