How about this for a dose of nostalgia, is this retro rad?

You might think these two photos are taken from years ago but actually they are recent the first is my favorites movie shelf and the living room along with my Denver Broncos clock that I received as a birthday present in 1988

The movies are all fully functioning I watch them from time to time playing them in my JVC high spec drive Hi-Fi stereo VCR. I also watch movies on DVD with a nice RCA upscaling DVD player. And in the bedroom is my Nintendo entertainment system connected to a CRT television. Some might say I'm hardcore when it comes to being retro rad, my reply is so... What's your point? LOL of course I'm biased and I think my retro gear and setup kicks tailgate but what are your thoughts?

I always enjoy seeing appreciation for retro stuff.

I have retro stuff all over the place. No VHS though, but it sounds like you have a particularly good one. My main CRT TV is a solid maple 1976 Electrohome console. I had a crazy hard time finding a good DVD player as they came out when the build quality of electronics started to go South. I finally selected the Pioneer DV-414 which is by far the best I’ve had. It was actually made in Japan in September 1998. Incidentally I had a dual-disc Toshiba just before that which froze up and never worked again after about 7 months. It too was stamped “Made in Japan” but they snuck a Chinese loading/playing mechanism into it.

My surprise for you is that i still have all my CD's, tapes and cassettes brand new, plus all the video games that i have and looking brand new, my 1st game console was the atari and i had it as a gift.

That's awesome love it, I got started playing video games with the Atari 2600 thanks to my eye doctor I had a lazy eye and he said it would be good for me to get one of those games cuz it would exercise my eye and make it move I'm like thanks a lot Mr eye doctor dude lol. For the longest time had the original box the Atari came in price tag was left on it got it at Kmart for $82

Tbh i have no clue about it's price, it was back in 1989, i was like only 4 years old 🤣🤣
There was a place to put game cartrige but i enjoyed playing the game that were found in it
