If you found yourself in the X-men universe as a mutant, what power would you want and which side would you be on?

I always loved Sabretooth as I've always been a big fan of large cats, and his ability to roar, the fangs and claws, the great leaping and superstrength was cool to me. Just the name Sabretooth is so epic as well. I'd probably lean more towards Magneto's side as well but I wouldn't be for extermination of humans.

I don’t know. When of the brilliant underlying themes of the X-men canon is that mutants don’t get to choose. They don’t get to choose whether or not to be a mutant and they don’t get to choose what abilities they have as a result, or the weaknesses and repercussions of it all. I definitely prefer control over my own life. Who i would be if i were born a certain way would definitely be very different if i could choose it, or not.
As a result, i would not want to be a mutant. I always leaned more toward Wolverine because of his character, not his abilities. If i were born a mutant, i’d definitely be in Magneto’s camp. He’s neither a madman nor evil. He simply recognizes that if the mutants don’t control humans, then humans will control mutants. As i said, i prefer to have control over my own life. If i must subjugate you to have that, so be it. Xavier may be honorable, but he’s naive. There’s no evidence that humans are capable of “liberty and justice for all”. So i’ll take mine at your expense, if i must.

I find it a tough question - I suppose there's pros and cons to each side and to each power. Hmmm. Magneto often seemed to have the coolest costume, so there's appeal there as a leader to follow with a sense of style lol 😂😆

Teleportation. Even limited such as Nightcrawler. I'd find myself a remote location and set up my own base of operations. Wouldn't be a villain so much as an independent player out to make my life comfortable.
