SWTOR players. Kill everything or sneak?

I play SWTOR now and then and I've seen people in open world (s) and in Flashpoints who will sneak up a hill, try 6 times to make a perfect jump, stealth around a corner, and take 4 minutes when he could've just killed the 2 mobs in 45 seconds.

What's the advantage of going to all that effort? It doesn't really save time...

Anyways, what's your playstyle?

I sneak, hide, and do everything not to go in combat mode.

I am there for the XP. I mow everything down!

I just fight the stuff I need to so I can finish the Flashpoint or get to where I need to be in-world.

i haven't played it in a hot minute but i played it with a friend 80% of the time, so we just mowed everything down for xp

sneaking is good tho when you're sick of a planet or mission bc some of them are VERY boring

In Flashpoints it saves a lot of time to just stealth run past mob packs, that's pretty much the main reason lol.

I've actually seen it where there is a tricky jump that takes all 4 players like 5 minutes to complete, when the mob they're avoiding literally takes about 20 seconds to kill (and you get more XP and Conquest points, too).
