Hollywood world only make it if Zorro was a black pansexual pegan badger-identifying eco-warrior in a wheelchair (who was better in every way than every man that has ever existed, and said so to the audience at least every 6 minutes, lest they forget). Please go ruin something else - maybe go flail the corpse of Star Wars a little more, just in case it isn't already fully dead. I know, you could have lesbian space witches in Star Wars - that would certainly kill it...
There are no remakes that couldn't work as long as there are talented writers, well cast actors, and sufficient funds. It kind of makes it all seem a disappointment to discover that just about everything is a remake of something else these days and there are so few original story lines..
They already did it with Puss In Boots’s movies lol
His entire character was originally just a nod to Antonio Banderas and his Zorro, he ended up becoming a recurring character in the Shrek films and now he’s got a couple films of his own, one of which is arguably one of the better animated films seen from DreamWorks in a long time. If they remake Zorro, Antonio will have to be dead for it to work lol
Imagine the swashbuckling Zorro slicing his iconic "Z" in the air with a modern twist. Antonio Banderas gave us an unforgettable Zorro, but bringing this legendary character back could indeed work! Given the current fascination with reboots and nostalgia, platforms like Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, or Prime Video could inject fresh energy into the Zorro franchise. They have the resources to create rich, immersive worlds and the potential to blend traditional Zorro charm with contemporary storytelling.
With the right cast, a gripping storyline, and visually stunning scenes, a Zorro remake could capture hearts once again. Plus, it would be exciting to see how new technology could enhance the stunts and sword fights we all love. Whether it's a series or a film, there could be a lot of depth exploring new layers of Zorro's character and his fight for justice. 🗡🎬✨

Here's a weird thought: not only did Antonio serve as a remaker of Zorro, but so did Anthony; the first movie came out seventeen years before HE was born!
They could do a Zorro set in the 21st century. Zorro fights the cartels, human traffickers and drug dealers. It would have no woke crap and would deal with illegal aliens
Let's leave the xenophobic and racist ahit out if this.
Zorro is Hispanic, would be counted as one?
That would work, but who has the It factor yonpkay Zorro/Diego? Look at how feminine these Hollywood blokes look
Not one man in Hollywood is masculine enough. Besides vin diesel
Maybe if Vin Diesel grew his hair out, he could play Diego/Zorro
@guardlion53 How about something like this?

Those are not very popular I never liked them
Reminds of A Horseman version of batman. With a Sword. No Powers, Just Gadgets and wealth. Diego De la Vega reminds me of a 17th century Brice Wayne. Plus his family is loaded like the Waynes
The Zorro series just made in the Canary Islands is decent.
