Your favorite Disney Animated movie from The Bronze Age part 1?

The films included in this era are The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, and Oliver and Company. It is one of the least popular eras as the company once again went downhill with Walt’s passing. They were trying out different formats of animation during this time to speed up processes, and they weren’t exploring many different themes. The most loved movie out of this age is The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and many people believe The Black Cauldron is underrated, but otherwise the other movies didn’t do so well with the public.

I seen to like the less popular Disney movies. But I would say it was the rescuers! I know I’ve seen the others, but I can’t remember them. The Rescuers, I remember watching that at the family estate in England, when I was about 5. I LOVED it, especially the seagull who was the “airplane” (or aeroplane for my British followers). It was just a great fun film. Also, even though I don’t even remember the plot, I immediately felt warm nostalgic feelings when I saw the still fame image from the movie.

The black cauldron had parents take their traumatised snowfkake kids out of cinemas so it gets bonus points for that.

But it's suppose to be set in a mythical land called Prydain. Problem is Prydain is a real place, it's Britain in the original tongue and still used in Welsh. Here it is on my passport

The film flopped because it was too scary for American kids and no-one could pronounce the welsh names.

Aristocats! Used to watch with my grandma and just got a shirt with the cartoon on it. Felt like such a snatch cause I don't know if or how long they’ll keep that aristoCATic merchandise around. Feels like history or something. Such a relic. 🙌 💯
