I really don't get the appeal, I mean I vaguely understand why it would be appealing to watch someone playing, but it really, really doesn't resonate with me. I'm a long term video game player. Playing does engage me a lot, it's fun since the dawn of mankind and even before, but willing to watch people play, and even pay for it? Twitch rise, this internet phenomenon, is a mystery to me. Among many other mysteries.

I am and I like some, dislike others. It used to be a gaming platform but now it's a bit of everything. I hate the ones who sexualize themselves for views. It's like they have nothing interesting going on so use that instead to reel in some people.

I prefer the actual gamers. no skin shown, just them playing the game, letting their personality speak. Because at the end of the day it's not the game that keeps us around but the content creator.

I like them, couple of my friends are twitch streamers or I met trough twitch. But I prefer small streams where its a closer group hanging out and you can actually get meaningful connections / friendships out of it. When they are big it can be entertaining but everyone blends in together so the entire dynamic is different.

Haven't used, don't plan to use. Sounds as confusing and unwanted as tiktok. I have used tiktok to just see tiktok and realise what's it all about - then promptly for forget this and left lol
