I’m sure you have heard of the famous Studio 54 nightclub, of its extra and most legendary parties in NYC history, celebrity guest lists, drugs, sex, and literally insane shit going down.

I was wondering: do we still have something like that these days? I know we have clubs where drugs and sex are happening, where celebs are guests, and it is difficult to get in, so it is not the “point” of my question.

I want to ask, do we have this Studio 54 LEVEL “crazy and extravagant” type of club?

there are a lot of similar discos in Europe and Japan and Australia, but none can replicate 54 because it was the Vanity Fair PR department that got A-list celebrities to show up and check it out

that created a little bit of a buzz, but it really took off when Bianca Jagger had her 30th birthday party there. Every celebrity in Hollywood was there in New York, and for 3 years they never stopped coming, until it was shut down in 1980
