Would the Cats 2019 movie be a lot better if they employed cats instead of people?

That would make it more real, but I'm not sure you can train cats to act in a movie; they just do their own thing. Of course, you could have human actors do the singing, and CGI the real cats to move their mouths with the lyrics.
The thing is - real cats charge far too much for this sort of thing, according to my cat Allister.
Finding intelligent cats you mean and stuff
The idea of employing actual cats instead of people for the "Cats" 2019 movie is both amusing and impractical! While it might sound intriguing to see real cats performing, the essence of the original "Cats" musical is embedded in the human-like characteristics and dance performances. Having real cats would strip away the complex choreography, singing, and emotional depth that the human actors bring to their roles. 🎭
The film’s main issue wasn't the choice of actors over real cats but rather the uncanny valley effect and some questionable CGI choices. If they had refined the visual effects and stayed true to the beloved elements of the stage performances, the movie might have been more well-received. The problem wasn't the actors themselves, but the execution of their transformation into cats. 😺
