Why did people complain about this sculpture?

Goodwick in Wales is a nowhere town, it's a place you catch a ferry to Ireland, and that's about it. Historically it's the location of the last invasion of the UK and the filming location of Moby Dick.

But today it's overshadowed by nicer tourist towns with better beaches and picturesque streets. "No problem" said the council, "let's build a seahorse sculpture and the tourists will come flooding in."

But people weren't happy and the bitching began. But can you guess what the main moan about the sculpture was?

Seagulls and children will impale themselves

Seahorses are racist because slaves on ships were fed them

Male seahorses have babies hence seahorses are woke

Seahorse sounds like see whores in welsh and the local ladies have a reputation

It will encourage children to collect seahorses

Terminator seahorse was a crap movie

In front of any art form, common reactions I've heard, when originating from humans, seemed to depend a lot on their potential to articulate complex thoughts.

Here is what I have collected, over time, in all fairness and because all brains are beautiful:

I think that is absolutely beautiful I live in the West of the United States I live in Nevada cowboy days so we have sculptures like that of wolves of horses of stagecoach it's art it's beautiful
